Basic Sewing & Patterns

In this course you will learn slightly more difficult aspects of sewing such as how to sew a collar and more. You will learn how to work with and understand more advanced patterns such as those which require gatherings, etc. You will also learn how to sew a slightly more advanced garment practicing what you have learned in the course.

This course is specifically designed as a follow-up on Level 1: Fundamental Sewing, to ensure that you also understand and know how to do the basics before moving on to more advanced areas.

Course Administrated by:

Daniele Naude: Professional Fashion Designer and qualified Dressmaker and Patternmaker. Daniele has extensive lecturing experience and has taught students at well known institutions such as Damelin and Midrand Graduate Institute.

Course Duration:

• Each practical short course has 4 classes held over a period of 4 weeks
• Each class is held once a week and can either be on a Saturday or during the week.
• The classes are all 3 hours long
• Classes are private and kept small to provide for individual attention

Course Fees:

The Level 2 Sewing Course is offered at only R1600 Course Fee per person + R600 Kit Fee (Total: R2200). Fees stated are per individual course level.

The full course fee is payable on the first day of your course. This can be paid through by cash or credit card. EFT Payments need to made at least 2 days in advance.

Kit Fee (R600):
This fee is non-refundable. The kit fee will be seen as both your deposit for the course as well as for buying all the required materials and items needed for the course, including any learning materials if applicable.
